Benchmarking Visit from MILA University (formerly known as Manipal International University)

On November 18, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Taylor's Library welcomed a visit from MILA University (formerly known as Manipal International University). The main purpose of the visit was to conduct a benchmarking exercise with Taylor's Library, which will aid in the future planning of MILA's new library. An accreditation visit for the Bachelor of Accounting (Fintech) (Honours) programme was held at our library on October 23, 2024. An accreditation visit has been scheduled for a Master of Teaching and Learning (ODL) programme on 21st October 2024 in the Meeting Room at Block A, Taylor's Lakeside campus. Our librarian, Ms. Liyana, has briefed the auditors.

We are delighted to inform you that an MQA accreditation visit for the Diploma in Accounting programme, School of Diploma and Professional Studies was conducted on August 29, 2024, at our library. During this visit, Ms. Fauziatul Alma, our librarian, provided a comprehensive briefing to the auditors, acquainting them with the library's array of services, facilities, and resources that substantiate the programme.

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Audit

The Taylor’s Library recently underwent an external audit by ACCA, which took place on Friday, August 16th, 2024. The Liaison Librarian, Ms. Fauziatul, cordially showed the auditor the physical books supporting the programme during the visit.

 

Accreditation Virtual Visit for Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Science programme

A virtual accreditation meeting was scheduled for the Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Science programme on 12th August 2024. The meeting with the auditors, panels, and involved departments was held via Zoom. Our librarian, Ms. Asyikin, has briefed the auditors on the library section.

 

Benchmarking Visit from Tunku Azizah Knowledge Centre (TAKC), UniKL

The Tunku Azizah Knowledge Centre (TAKC) from UniKL visited Taylor’s Library on 7th August 2024. Ms. Leenawati Razali and Ms. Fauziatul provided the visitors with an overview of the library, including its services, facilities, and resources. The session facilitated a seamless and impactful exchange of knowledge between the UniKL Library and Taylor's Library. Additionally, all visitors were given a guided library tour, with assistance from Ms. Wilmina and Mr. Ting Chang Nguan.
