Notes: Library Discussion Rooms at Taylor's Library (applicable for students only) can be booked manually through the Enquiry Desk on a first-come-first-served basis. Patrons must immediately use the rooms after registering at the Enquiry Desk. You are required to leave your student ID at the desk. To ensure fair usage for all students, the room is not renewable. If you and your group wish to do the filming in the Discussion Room, permission must be granted before you can proceed with the filming. For further details, kindly refer to the Policy for Filming in Taylor's Library.

A. Discussion rooms with Wireless Display

Discussion Rooms are provided for group study, discussions, and presentations only. Discussion Rooms may be used for 2 hours by groups of 4 - 8 people. There are 13 discussion rooms equipped with a Wireless Display that you may connect to the laptop and gadget. The rooms that are equipped with the Wireless Display are DR3.3, DR3.4, DR4.1, DR4.3, DR4.4, DR4.5, DR4.6, DR4.7, DR4.8, DR4.9, DR4.10, DR5.1 and DR5.2. Kindly refer to the step-by-step display in the room to connect the Wireless Display to the gadget. Please refrain from loud or disruptive behavior in the Discussion Rooms.

B. Discussion rooms with Touch Screen Display

Students may use the Discussion rooms with Touch Screen Display for presentations and group discussions. These rooms may be used throughout the day for 2 hours by groups of 4 - 8 people. There are 3 Touch Screen Display available at Taylor’s Library that are DR3.1, DR3.2 and DR4.2. Kindly refer to the step-by-step display in the room to connect the TV to the gadget. Please refrain from loud or disruptive behavior in the Discussion Rooms.
