Facilities - Discussion Rooms

Notes: Library's Discussion Rooms at Lakeside campus can be booked manually through the Enquiry Desk on first-come-first-served basis. Patrons must immediately use the rooms after registering at the Enquiry Desk. You are require to leave your student ID at the desk.

A. Discussion rooms

Discussion Rooms are provided for group study and discussions only.
Discussion Rooms may be used for 2 hours by group of 4 to 16. There are 14 discussion rooms available at Taylor’s University Library. Please refrain from loud or disruptive behavior in the Discussion Rooms.

 

B. Discussion rooms with interactive white board (IWB)

Students may use the IWB Discussion rooms for presentations and discussions. These rooms may be used throughout the day for 2 hours by groups with a minimum of 4 persons. There are 3 Interactive White Board available at Taylor’s University Library.

   What you need to do?
   1. Install the software.
   2. Connect you laptop ot the IWB.
   3. Configure the board.
   4. Follow the manual.
   5. Use the pens, pointer and eraser for
       writing & editing.
   6. Enjoy and have fun!
 

C. Multimedia Rooms
Students may use Multimedia rooms for presentations and discussions. These rooms may be used throughout the day for 2 hours by groups with a minimum of 4 persons. There are 3 Interactive White Board available at Taylor’s University Library.
