On November 18, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Taylor's Library welcomed a visit from MILA University (formerly known as Manipal International University). The main purpose of the visit was to conduct a benchmarking exercise with Taylor's Library, which will aid in the future planning of MILA's new library. This includes considerations for both interior and exterior design, as well as reference collections and facilities.
The visitors included the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Enterprise), the Vice President (Marketing), the Acting Head of Library, the Deputy Registrar, the Assistant Manager of Quality Assurance, and an Assistant Librarian from MILA University. The Head Librarian provided a briefing for the six visitors, followed by a comprehensive tour of the library facilitated by the team.
