Facilities - Library Zoning

Library provides over 1,700 seating capacity. There are three categories of zones. Individual silent study, Quiet study and Open collaboration.

Level 2	Foyer, Lounge and Collaboration and Social Meeting Hub	Group study or collaboration No loud and disruptive behavior Phone usage allowed with minimal conversation
Level 3	Quiet study	Individual quiet study Whispered conversation only Silent phone
Level 4	Individual Silent study zone	Individual silent study space Absolute silence, no talking Silent phone
Level 5	Individual Silent study zone	Individual silent study space Absolute silence, no talking Silent phone

Library strives to ensure that users adhere to the zoning policy by patrolling the study areas and approaching and counseling individuals who are making noise. All users must comply with the rules and follow instructions from the library staff members. If disruptive behavior persists user may be asked to leave the library or referred to security.
