Library has provided Self-service Loan at Taylor’s Library for users to borrow books on their own. Users are advised to follow the instructions available on the screen and next to the machine that easily takes them through the checkout process.

However if you experience any difficulty using the machine, please ask the staff at the service desk for assistance. They are more than happy to help you.

Please ensure that you press the ‘Print Receipt’ button to close the transaction and thus prevent another patron from using your account to borrow books.
Reminder: Please do not allow other users to use your ID card for borrowing. Users are responsible for any transactions made using the card. Refer to Rules and Regulation Students & Staff ID for more details.

Self-service loan at Taylor's Library Lakeside Campus
At Taylor's Library, there are two (2) Self-service loan machines located on the Level 2 foyer near the Enquiry Desk, one (1) at the Reserve Collection, and two (2) at Level 4 near the Silent Study area and Taylor’s College Collection.

The machines are available during library hours except for the last 15 minutes before libraries close.

Option 2: Tap your card on the smart card reader

The user will also receive an email generated from the system once the transaction is completed. Kindly check your Taylor's registered email for further information or simply log in to My Library Account.

REMINDER: DO NOT return or place the book back on the shelf if an error message appears on the screen. If you experience problems, please speak to the staff at the Lending Services desk for immediate assistance or check the status of transaction via My Library Account.
